Books I DNF'd This Year And Why
As the year is almost at its end, I decided to go back and see just what I’d read throughout the year. Of the 29 books I’ve started I’ve finished 26. These are the three I didn’t finish and why. Frankenstein - Mary Shelley This was one I was really looking forward to. So many people had said that this was a really good book and from what I managed to read I would have to agree. However as someone who suffered from dyslexia the writing style was so hard to read. Of course with this book being written 1818 it makes sense that this is how it was written, but I found it so slow going. That doesn’t mean I won’t get round to finishing it, but I think to do so will have to be with an audio book. Demon road - Derek Landy Now this was one that I started to read at the start of a reading slump, so I have every intention of giving it another go. Derek Landy is one of my all time favourite authors so this is one that will get a second chance. I read about half the book...
